I feel very interested. What exactly do you have in mind?

Tony might have wrangled me into making sure I saw the feed. I meant to say congratulations, but I didn't want to be too obvious about having watched it all unfold, so - congratulations! It's absolutely wonderful.

I went to that sort of... space training thing that was being advertised on the network. One of the things they talked about was nutrition, and how since we're in space we don't get everything naturally. Someone earlier in my stay here had mentioned trying communal meals to raise morale, and I was thinking maybe we could combine the two somehow -- or at least cook a lot and leave leftovers around for people.

I think I'm beginning to expect that from Tony. Thank you, though. It's something I wasn't sure would ever happen after the past few years.

That actually sounds like a great plan. I'd like to be able to do something for people here - I sometimes feel like there's not much for someone like me to offer - and that certainly sounds like one way to do it. I would love to help, absolutely.

Even if you're on a spaceship, you should always take opportunities if you're given them, and I'm happy that you have, I really am.

Excellent! You were the first person I thought of, though I'm sure there are other people on the ship who aren't sure how to help. Maybe they could get involved as well -- it could be a good way to occupy some of the children, at least.

Well, we'll see what happens from here, at least. I'm not particularly sure I want to ask Captain Ward to perform the ceremony ever, so it may just be a very long engagement.

I'm sure between the two of us we could organise something to get other people involved? I think the idea will really go down well with the rest of the ship.

You know, I can't really imagine what a wedding ceremony conducted by Captain Ward would be like, but I'm a little intimidated just by the general thought of it. That said, he might secretly have a soft side regarding these sort of matters...?

Somehow, I doubt it. I think it might just be brutally efficient. Bruce would probably have kittens.

To take a leaf out of Tony's book, could you see him asking if you two will stay together in sickness and in health whilst going :| the entire time? I wouldn't be able to keep a straight face.

I'm already laughing at the thought. Maybe I should try seeing if there's anyone else on board who can officiate.

I'm sure there must be, there are more than enough people here. That said, stick to the Captain if you ever think about turning the wedding into a heart-warming comedy.

Well, we can always use more heart-warming comedies. If I'm feeling particularly masochistic I can even ask Tony to record it all.

Even if you didn't ask, I don't doubt Tony would film it anyway. He'll happily fuel your masochism.

I feel like in dating him I'm sort of protecting the rest of the world a little, but there are some things even I can't change or control. You would receive a fully edited and seamless wedding video, likely with compulsory commentary on top of that.

Well, maybe we could just play it on mute when we feel like being sentimental instead of laughing. Or cringing, as the case may be.

Have faith; if it happens - and I rather hope it does - there won't be any cringing on the day.

Not until we hear Tony's commentary, anyway.
